Keep the author connected to the work. Photos and supporting audio can sit alongside a Writing without replacing its original words.
Photos help show the people, places and details behind a Memory or Writing. Play existing recordings directly from the archive and keep the original voice connected to the story.

Review the result before saving. Transcription, extraction and AI processing need an internet connection and can make mistakes. Browser recording requires microphone permission.
ForeverTree can help organize material with an About summary, Themes, Emotions and Tags, where available for the item. These are helpful interpretations—not a replacement for the original recording or Writing.
Review AI-generated details rather than treating them as established facts. Optional translation offers another way to read supported content without overwriting the original.

Search and organization help you rediscover material you have saved. They do not create a new account of your life or fill gaps in the original evidence.
Connect stories with People and retain places, dates and other available details. A name, a place or a date can help explain how a Memory fits into the wider family archive.
Details from automated analysis may need review. A recording date is not necessarily the date the remembered event happened.
Invite someone to contribute their own attributed perspective to a Memory. A Branch adds what that person remembers; it does not replace the owner's original story.
Different recollections can sit alongside each other. Keep each person's contribution and attribution distinct, with supporting media where available.
Share selected material with other members, or create a public link for an individual Memory when you choose. Sharing one story does not mean sharing your whole archive.
A public link can be passed on by its recipient. Choose the audience and content carefully, and use the existing sharing controls to manage access.
ForeverTree is built around a private family archive, not an advertising feed. We do not sell your personal information or use your archive to build third-party advertising profiles. Transcription and automated organization use service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Public/Private label relates to eligibility for future Legacy Access; it is not an instruction to post an item on the internet. Direct sharing and public links are separate choices. Keep irreplaceable original files, and contact support about obtaining a copy of your data. Use the account-deletion controls or the public deletion-request page when you want to leave. Designate a trusted Legacy Contact. If Legacy Access is later activated, the holder receives read-only access to eligible content. Private items remain excluded, and the holder does not become the owner or gain edit/delete control.
